U.S. Organic Certification

Understand U.S. Organic Certification(NOP)

The U.S. Organic Certification is the most authoritative organic certification in the United States. Because it has been so stringent that only an official certificate of 100% use of organic ingredients can be printed on the product packaging with the USDA logo. It is slightly different from other certification concepts in that the certification standards are mainly considered to control organic products' production, processing, and transportation process rather than the product itself for pre-market quality analysis and identification. In other words, if a product is produced, processed, and transported in strict accordance with national organic standards in all aspects of implementation, the product can be certified organic.

How is TowerD corroborating with the U.S. Organic Certification Program

The USDA designates 55 agencies within the United States to conduct USDA audits of product ingredients.

The USDA requires that organic products not use synthetic preservatives, petrochemicals, ionizing radiation, or pesticides in the production process. Organic certification is granted according to the product's organic content.

· The "100 percent organic" logo means that all the ingredients in the product, except for water and minerals, are organic.

· The "organic" logo means that at least 95% of the ingredients in the product, except for water and minerals, are organic.

· Both "100% percent organic" and "organic" products can have the USDA ORGANIC logo on the exterior.

TowerD Organics is currently working with LETIS, an organic and Quality Certifier, providing a transparent and administered certification system accredited by national and international organizations.
